It Makes Me Want to Cry

After the carnival, the twinners wanted to play outside. They were riding bikes in the driveway, Lucas was unloading things from his car. The next thing I know, I turn around to see this:
They snuck in through a door left open, and Ryan was taking them off on an adventure! It totally made me think of This commercial. I snapped a quick picture (with my phone, thus the poor quality), thinking "This is the picture I will post on their 16th birthday!" Then I pictured them sitting in that car as teenagers - excited to enjoy their freedom by driving alone for the first time to hang out with their friends. I know that I will look at them then, thinking of this day, and feel like I just blinked and they were suddenly this old.

Slow down, sweet babies! Don't grow up so fast!

I thought the same thing...laugh now but you won't believe how fast this happens. The Bible is clear on our time verses the Lords time. Blink of an eye. I never believed that when I was home taking care of my three little kids while daddy was away on the boat,I thought this will never end.No sleep, diapers, sickness,etc.etc. and then one day they had all graduated from college (and now have families). And I ask myself "can I rewind somehow?" Slow down twinners pleaseeeeee!!!nana

I couldn't agree more please slow down. I too remember my 3 little ones and I enjoyed each stage to its fullest and it still seems like yesterday. Gigi

Love the picture!!!!!! It is so very classic and so great that you have it recorded! Oh, don't we all know how fast time flies! Our third little kid has joined his 2 brothers in hitting 50! How can that be when I think I'm 50! Won't be a blink and all 5 sons will be in the 50's. Slow down world!! I'd like to find that rewind button, too, Nana. Love life and enjoy each day! Grandma

This is so cute!! And I thought of the same commercial. When you look back it may seem like it was just yesterday that they were little, but you'll have plenty of time along the way to cherish every moment. And besides,if they're like me at all, they won't get their licenses until they're 18 :P
