Ice Cream Temptations

I know it has been a while since we posted a new blog. The school year has begun and I have about 6,000- 8,000 pages to read this semester, numerous papers, and a lot of Hebrew and Greek translating to do. So, it may be hit and miss for a while. Kim is usually exhausted after work, but I will encourage her to do more posting. Perhaps I will tempt her with ice cream? That certainly works to get her to do the dishes when I just don't want to do them. "If you do the dishes, I will run to the store and bring back ice cream with chocolate and peanut butter." That usually does the trick; that and she likes to race me to see if she can get the dishes done before I return, which she usually does. Off to study for my Hebrew Comprehensive Exam. Fun, fun. Just translated 1 Kings 18:1-16 yesterday, so if you are bored, read that passage about the prophets Elijah and Obadiah.

I was just reading about ice cream makers online. Maybe you should invest in one of those. You can race the maker to see how quickly the dishes get finished.

Hello, glad to see a new blog. Sounds like you two are busy, busy, busy. Try and take some time to enjoy that ice cream. I'd do dishes for ice cream also. Can't get enough of it. I'm redoing all my flower gardens what a job. Got to be done.
Love you both aunt darleen

Kim, I would get more than Ice cream from that trip to the store. Just think of what you might be able to talk him into. Lots and lots of chocolate. Oh yes and don't forget to do exercises after the ice cream. mom

I spend all day at a boring job, I am glad he posted it. It brings back good memories. The best bargin I ever got was a $0.10 buy from that sale. I am sad though, that the neon green dinosaur that said science rocks, that I got there didn't make it in the list of notable items.

Boy :( I never get ice cream for doing dishes. I'm doing something wrong. Not to pressure you or anything but I'm doing the Christmas list which we are trying to get out by Oct1....so you can just email it to me because I'm doing the big list for everyone. thanks...mom
the race is on who will get it to me first. I would put my money on Lucas & Kim. I forgot Logan is in already. hugs.
