Reading and Recuperating

Sorry for the apparent neglect. Actually let me be more precise with my words. Sorry for the neglect of the blog. I have recently been in the "zone" and have been focusing on my studies. But seriously no excuse, b/c how long does it take to write a few words? Here's a briefing for you: I am just finishing up my first reading week of the semester and Kim has been sick with Strep throat and we think an additional viral infection, so please keep her in your prayers as she is sick of being sick for the past week. I am busy preparing exegesis papers on Psalm 8 and another on 1 Tim 3:1-7. Any thought on those verses? We've been spending quite a bit of time in our apartment with Kim sick and really the only other places I have been are the bookstore where I work and the library for a few hours here and there. We want to send out a big congratulations to our friends Billy and Megan on the birth of their first child, Evelyn! Hopefully I'll keep up a little better. Oh and since we are big "American Idol", "24" and Detroit Pistons fans, please leave any thoughts or questions in the comments, and you will definitely get a response! Peace out.

Hello, Lucas and Kim, you may not remember me, but I went to Hillsdale yeeeeeaaaars ago. (OK, all three years ago.) Point is, Kim and I were "incomings" together and Lucas showed me my room when I arrived. Well, I'm still and undergrad, now at Gordon College...just up the road! Figured I'd pop in and say hey, and I'd love to actually physically meet up with y'all sometime. See ya around.

Glad to get your email. keep them coming. Are you getting things ready for our annual March Madness Tournament? The place we are staying at is better than where we usually stay at. We are at The Inn on Lake Superior. We are going to eat some s'mores at their outdoor fire tonight. They have an outdoor pool, but I have no trunks. Talk to you later. Dad and Mom

Hello Josh, I do remember you and your father and showing you around that first day. So what year are you now at Gordon? I'm surprised I haven't run into you at the Bennet Center. Mom and Dad, don't worry selection Sunday is two weeks away and I will send out the info Sunday night.

I'm in bed today with a sore throat, but the roads were too icy to have school today, so it's ok :-) How is life going in Massachusetts?
