What happened to Fall?

It was summer till the end of September and then the rains came; record rainfall in October. All of a sudden you look out the front door and this picture is what you see. Hats and gloves? Snowballs flying at your head? A Snowman?!? It's still October! Where is this amazing New England fall that I hear so much about. Autumn in Hillsdale was much better than this. And, not only did we get snow, we got fat, heavy snow. So fat that it knocked down some tree limbs and we lost our power for two hours this afternoon. I feel like I'm back in Rogers City! Six months of hibernation, here we come!

Awww... that really stinks! Hillsdale's fall has been gorgeous so far! It's too bad that you are not getting the nice, chilly weather that's supposed to come BEFORE the snow!!

NO SNOW in RC, havent even seen a flake...I don't know what you are talking about. Today (Sunday) I rode my bike with a t-shirt on. It was 68 out. We are going to have no snow this winter, I can just feel it. It is all going to the east of us. Did you guys have a snowball fight or anything or play Clue when the power was out???

WOW! I can't believe you have snow already. It's getting cold here in Virginia but I doubt if we'll see snow and if so, it won't be too much. Though I wouldn't mind. Just not quite yet ; ) Stay warm, you snowbunnies! Drink lots of hot chocolate = )

I still have flower blooming in the garden. Nice to see that at this time of year. Keep the hats and gloves handy your winter is just beginning.
