To our faithful readers,
It proabbaly has been apparent that there has been a take over of the blog by Kim (I knew once I showed her how to do it that would be it for me!). I have been working hard on my Hebrew and have had little time to post. This morning I took the final exam, and I am pretty confident that I got an A on it and the class overall. I have enjoyed Hebrew much more than I expected. I especially liked that it was condensed into an intensive 4 week summer session. Not having a job or a church yet has allowed me to devote as much time as I need to the language. I receive a week off from Hebrew and start Hebrew II next Monday, July 25. As Kim mentioned in her last post, we are heading up to Maine for the next 5 days. Half that time with her cousin's family and the other half at Acadia National Park. We'll have lots to share next Thursday. By the way, I think Kim is getting close to landing a job. She had a second interview today for one job and a second interview tomorrow for another! Please pray for wisdom for her as she will be making some big decisions soon. We know that many of you are continually praying for us, and we want to let you know that we appreciate them and that your prayers are being answered. Hope there are lots of comments when we return...

Lucas & Kim...have a great time on your little mini vacation!! And yes we are praying for a job for Kim!! Also for your test taking. Will miss getting a new blog for awhile but I'm sure it will be full when you get back with more funny stories. Love you both...drive safe, see you in Aug.
Hello fellow campers, sounds like your going on quite an adventure to Acadia Nat. Park. We just returned from 10 days to Black Lk. with Debbie and David. Had fun. You two sure have some great adventures. Can't wait to hear about this one.
Have fun
Love aunt darleen
lucas and kim... just a little positive reinforcement flowing your direction. have fun camping. I'll be our for a few weeks myself, but I'll check back on you when I get back to surfin' the net. Blessings on your trip, Lucas' studies, and Kim's job hunt. Kim... know that Dana was very much in your shoes, as she was job hunting while I was in summer Hebrew. So her empathy is all yours. Lucas, a word to the wise - (and in reference to the bathrobe post a few days ago) - don't bring home friends from class if you have a mid-morning break... It does not make for a fun wake up call for the bride to have Hebrew students clomping in the apartment. :) All our best! matt (and dana)
Hope you two had a wonderful time in Maine, a state we've never been to.
*hope you had fun doing a tick check too :)*
