Keeping Pre-Occupied

So I know it's been almost two weeks, but the reason for new post is not due to lack of time, it's due to lack of content. I am a week away from finishing my January class "Christ in the Old Testament" and Kim has been at work. That pretty much sums things up. We have been spending a good deal of time becoming reacquainted with an old friend, cable TV. Kim got me it for Christmas so I could watch ESPN, specifically watch more Detroit Pistons' games, which I will be doing tonight. We have been watching a ton of HGTV and TLC (and by "we," I mean Kim). We do enjoy watching Whose Line is it Anyway? on ABC Family every night at 10:00. We have become addicted to Fox's "24" and are so happy that American Idol is back on. I have also enjoyed watching the History channel as well. You may wonder where I get all the time to do this? I work hard during the day so I can have my evenings with Kim. Oh and we have given in and joined the craze in our building for playing this boardgame call "Settlers." It's a great mix of chance and strategy. So, that is all for now.

So apparently the word "we" is used just like it is in our house when it comes to saying that "we have watched a ton of HGTV and TLC...oh, and also Food Network." And of course by "we," that totally means just me with Andrew politely sitting there with me. I just love "Iron Chef" (though Andrew loves the Japanese version even more than me!), What Not to Wear, and all of the home improvement/decorating shows. Yep, I have become a typical women as the years progress.

Hope you and Kim are well Lucas! I believe that Andrew's friend Kyle is heading out your direction this summer to begin school. And possibly even his other friend Joel...perhaps a visit will be warranted with so many wonderful people in the area! :)

Hello you two, it's about time for a new blog report. I'm so glad you find some time to relax and enjoy your TV programs. Our pastor is hooked on 24 also. We can't get it so I have know idea what the fuss is about.
Sure do miss seeing you both.
Hope you do well in your classes Luke. Kim you have to share some more of your work stories with us. Love to you both

Hi guys!

It's like we're living parallel lives here--Megan and I recently played our second game of Settlers EVER last Saturday, and Megan won! Surprisingly addictive game.

We enjoy American Idol as well--any early favorites?

Oh, and we're still waiting to meet our daughter. . . Feb. 2 is the due date.

I'll keep you posted (no pun intended!)

Hi guys! It must be an old, married couple thing, because Jeff and I love to watch Whose Line, too! That show is perfect to watch before bed, because I always go to sleep happy.

Lucas, Big Ten and Final Four are both here in Indy this year! When are you coming back to visit us for more March Madness??

Sam and I love that game as well! It's all his fault for leading me into it...but it's really addictive. Just catching up with people so hello and hope all is well. Less than 6 months till our day - yikes!!
